Our Volunteers

Our volunteers have a heart for the homeless and are willing to give up a few hours a week to serve and help our guests. All volunteers must first attend a one to two hour training session as  this ensures continuity and that each evening is run to the same standards and rules.

Volunteers are currently required to support our Drop-In Centre from 9.30 a.m. on Mondays and Tuesdays in central Bexleyheath. Amongst our volunteers we seek Team Leaders and Cooks and Assistant Cooks (who must have, or be prepared to obtain, a current level 2 Food Hygiene certificate), who will undergo additional training.

Whilst we are currently focussed on our Drop-In centre, we may be requiring volunteers to support evening meals and overnight accommodation in the future.

Still Not Sure if it's for you?

Then why not read here the experiences of some of our Volunteers and what it meant to one of our guests?
